The new issue of Let's Knit arrived this week and will be in the shops soon. I was thrilled to see my design, Rambling Rose, on the cover, especially as I think this is my favourite sweater design this year. I love circular yoke sweaters with just a touch of fair isle on the yoke. The sweater is worked in the round in stocking stitch which makes it a quick and relaxing knit with very little finishing.
Rambling Rose combines a delicate rose motif with beads for a bit of added elegance. I've wanted to combine fair isle with beads for ages. The beads are added using the crochet hook method.
